Anglicare WA
At Anglicare WA, we believe that every person deserves to belong, to have hope for the future, and to receive the support they need to thrive.
For nearly 50 years, we’ve been dedicated to supporting individuals, families, and communities across Western Australia during times of need.
Our work includes supporting those experiencing family and domestic violence, strengthening family relationships, and assisting people facing homelessness, poverty, mental health challenges and more.
As a leading advocate for social change, we leverage our experience and expertise to empower individuals, strengthen communities, and provide hope through our services.
In 2023-2024, we reached over 82,000 Western Australians. But we can’t do this alone. That’s why we’re excited to partner with volunteers like you, who are committed to making a real, lasting impact on the lives of people in our local communities.
By participating in this year’s Central Park Plunge, you’ll help raise vital funds for programs that provide essential services to those who need it most.
Take the Plunge and join our mission to create a fair and just Western Australia, where every person has the opportunity to thrive.
Fiona Wood Foundation
The Fiona Wood Foundation is an independent not-for-profit Led by Professor Fiona Wood. Our vision is to deliver scarless healing in mind and body to those who suffer from burn injuries. We exist for current and future patients with the knowledge that every intervention from the point of injury influences the scar worn for life.
We are resolute in our dedication to leading the way in global burn research and believe that by continually expanding the body of burns knowledge in the physical, physiological, and psychological impacts we can improve the quality-of-life outcomes for burn patients now and into the future.
Through the translation of our research findings into clinical care best practices, we develop innovative treatments and technologies and provide essential psychological support to patients and their families, ensuring a holistic approach to burn care and recovery. Our efforts have led to advancements in clinical care excellence, benefiting adults and children’s patients and their families in WA and beyond.
This year the Foundation plans to use donations from THE PLUNGE to establish a comprehensive data platform to expand our understanding of burn injuries that span the patient’s journey. Using the biological samples collected from our already established adult and children burns biobank, the platform will enable us to curate and safely store data sets, including metabolomics, cell profiles, clinical data, and hair analysis. Additionally, it will facilitate interdisciplinary research and collaboration among burn specialists, surgeons, scientists, and other collaborators, paving the way for impactful research projects in burns and other areas of health.
Data is pivotal to translating research from bench to bedside in our pursuit of clinical excellence and care. Help us to shape the future of burn care and recovery.
Guide Dogs WA
Guide Dogs WA is the only Western Australian based provider of Guide Dog training services in the community. Guide Dogs WA provides life changing Guide Dogs and Autism Assistance Dogs.
It is the independence and pure joy offered by these dogs to our clients that keeps us going. Guide Dogs not only enhance mobility, independence and quality of life for people living with low vision or disability, but they provide companionship and inclusion in the community. It takes over two years and costs more than $50,000 to train a Guide or Assistance Dog. Guide Dogs WA relies on the support of the community to provide these life changing services to Western Australians living with low vision, disability and illness.
Whether you choose to support us by donating or fundraising on our behalf, every gift is significant and makes a difference. Thank you!

Parkerville Children and Youth Care
For over a century, Parkerville Children and Youth Care has provided transformative care to children and young people across Western Australia. Our commitment remains steadfast as we continue to deliver radically personalised care to those impacted by child sexual and physical abuse, homelessness, homicide, and other adverse childhood experiences, with a focus on trauma-informed practices aimed at alleviating the impacts of significant trauma. Each year, our essential service streams and programs reach over 10,000 individuals throughout Western Australia, providing an opportunity for each child and young person to feel safe to dream, thrive, and reach their fullest potential.
12 Buckets
At 12 Buckets, we are deeply committed to empowering local children and helping them thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances, through our In-School and Community Mentoring programs. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, and we provide the support they need to unlock their full potential and reach for their dreams.
Since 2015, we have proudly partnered with six primary schools and one high school in the Koondoola, Girrawheen, and Balga communities. Through these partnerships, we aim to break the intergenerational cycle of disadvantage and provide children with the support and encouragement they need to overcome any obstacles they may face.
Our dedicated volunteer mentors play a key role in this process. By giving just one hour per week, they help create a safe, nurturing space where our young people can feel truly seen, heard, and valued. This safe environment is crucial for building confidence and fostering a sense of belonging. Our mentors are there to help children explore their strengths, ignite their creativity, and encourage them to believe in their potential. The impact of this mentoring extends far beyond the hour spent together, as it inspires children to take bold steps toward a brighter future, knowing they have the support they need to succeed.
Breakthrough T1D
Breakthrough T1D , formerly JDRF Australia, was founded more than 50 years ago. What began as a dream in family homes across the world has grown into a global organisation dedicated to ending type 1 diabetes (T1D) by funding life-changing T1D research.
For the past five decades Breakthrough T1D has been working tirelessly towards this cause, with every single dollar raised committed to taking a cure from hope to reality – while improving the lives of people with T1D until that happens.
Charlies Foundation For Research
As the primary fundraising body for medical research at Sir Charles Gairdner and Osborne Park Hospitals, we support projects, big and small, that have a positive impact on the welfare of our patients. The research and projects we support are “translational,” or patient-centred, which means we fund projects and clinical trials with the most potential to improve care and outcomes for patients.
We make a point of supporting new research and young researchers, enabling highly promising projects – projects that might otherwise struggle to find funding – to gather the preliminary data and momentum they need to secure significant grants from peak bodies.
Our ‘seed funding’ strategy and vision has spawned remarkable advances in medical care that have made a huge difference for patients, both locally and globally.
Essential Personnel
Essential Personnel is a NFP providing services and supports for people with disabilities and disadvantage to pursue their life and career goals. We have been partnering with individuals in the Wheatbelt and metro area since 1987. We are part of local communities from Northam to Merredin, and Jurien Bay to Golden Bay.
Isolation and loneliness disproportionately effect people with disability - those in remote areas most of all - and can be detrimental for mental health. Accessing fun and exciting activities that accommodate diverse abilities is so beneficial and important. The Central Park Plunge is a unique opportunity to raise funds that will provide inclusive adventure possibilities for people with disability!
