genU is one of Australia’s leading care providers, with a mission to build genuinely inclusive communities. We’re a wrap-around service provider that caters for all, so no matter what generation you’re in, we’re not far away. 

Our story started more than 70 years ago when a group of parents wanted more for their children with disability. We have continued to pursue this focus on creating inclusive and accessible communities for people with disability, expanding over time to include seniors and those experiencing disadvantage.

Our impact has grown to include more than 5000 passionate staff around the nation, and a focused range of services aimed including disability support, senior services, employment, community, accommodation, allied health, and training.

Our profit-for-purpose model means that with every interaction you have with genU, you’re directly impacting the lives of others and joining us in building genuinely inclusive communities.

In 2024, we made a difference to the lives of over 26,000 WA children with life-changing equipment, impactful programs, scholarships, and unforgettable events. 

Every bit of support brings us closer to helping more kids in 2025 be the best they can be.

At 12 Buckets, we are dedicated to helping local children thrive, regardless of their background or circumstance through our In-School and Community Mentoring programs. Since 2015, we’ve partnered with 6 primary schools and 1 high school in the Koondoola, Girrawheen, and Balga communities. By dedicating just one hour per week, our volunteer mentors create a safe and supportive space that ensures our young people feel seen, heard, and valued, helping them to unearth their spark and ignite their potential!

Breakthrough T1D

Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) is the leading supporter of type 1 diabetes (T1D) research in the world. Their vision is for a world without T1D, and their mission is to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent, and treat T1D and its complications. They invest in the most promising reach, advocate for government support of research and new therapies, and provide support and resources for every age and stage of the condition. This is only possible thanks to the generosity of Breakthrough T1D's supporters across Australia.

Charlies Foundation For Research 

20 descents (Mid-morning)
We support world-class patient-centred research out of Sir Charles Gairdner and Osborne Park Hospitals - crucial to the prevention and treatment of disease, the relief of suffering and improved patient outcomes. We fund projects and clinical trials with the most potential to improve care and outcomes for patients.

Essential Personnel

Essential Personnel is a NFP providing services and supports for people with disabilities and disadvantage to pursue their life and career goals. We have been partnering with individuals in the Wheatbelt and metro area since 1987. We are taking part in Central Park Plunge to raise funds for inclusive adventure possibilities for people with disability!
